Changed their menu from #1-#5 specials that included egg roll or salad and a drink. Higher prices. Crab puffs are not the same, more like a a huge circle with barely any cream cheese inside. Please don't ever change the teriyaki sauce. Yoshi, please try as best as possible to keep it familiar, been going here for over 25 years and try to reconnect when in the area.

Hadn't been in here in 12 years or more and living near again I have been wanting to come in for happy hour which used to be one of the best deals in all of Phoenix! Man I am glad I came in and didn't listen to the guy on the train who said it went down hill. I highly recommend the chicken teriyaki bowl. Get the green onions and chili paste and its delicious! Just like old times!

The cafe by my job was closed, so I ended up going over here instead for lunch. I ordered the gyoza and the curry. The gyoza were pretty decent, the sauce that comes with the gyoza is definitely a bit different in taste but it's not bad by any means either. The chicken katsu curry was surprisingly really good. I do wish it had some potatoes, but the carrots were not bad. It was also really filling and not too badly priced for everything. I'd come back here again!

YOSHI’S: Passable eats minus the complimentary egg roll. My teriyaki chicken bowl was just okay - not bad, but nothing special. But at 8 bucks plus a tip for a (small) bowl, a complementary egg roll wouldn’t have been too big an ask. Amirite? The interior of Yoshi’s is thirsty for an update but is very clean, while the exterior looks run down and in need of a shiny new box of nails and fresh coat of paint. Fun fact: most modern eggroll recipes don’t use eggs!

Good place for some Beef or Chicken teriyaki, stopped by for lunch yesterday and ordered a half and half bowl, which has beef and chicken, rice on the bottom. Chicken was a little dry but still delicious, The beef was good as well, but I would say it had a little more fat/gristle in it than I can excuse but it was delicious. The place was quiet, weird for that time of day, but I think there was one other couple in there with me, pretty clean as well. Service was fine, although I didn’t interact with them too much, they were helpful and nice. Will stop by again. 7.7 out of ten? I’d say that’s about right.
